The Proboscidean Text Database (PTDb) is a digital collection of resources about the Proboscidea, the evolutionary group comprising elephants, mammoths, mastodons, and their relatives. The rules governing the cataloguing of sources on the PTDb and its formatting can be found here. All catalogued sources have been saved in and should be accessible through Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine if any become unavailable. Click the Prodeinotherium icon to learn more about a source in the Paleobiology Database (PBDB).
